Low Emission Zone
From the 3rd January 2012, driving through London could cost you an extra £100 a day, if you own a van weighing 1.205 tonnes – 3.5 tonnes gross vehicle weight that was registered before 2002.
This is due to stricter regulations under the Low Emission Zone (LEZ) which was introduced in 2008 to help reduce traffic pollution and improve the air quality in London.
