New Citroen C Zero

The innovative new Citroen C Zero is a brand new vehicle from Citroen. It’s named the ‘C Zero’ due to the fact that it emits zero emissions. It is driven by an electric motor which generates 49 kW and is powered by a 16kW/h lithium-ion battery that powers the motor, air conditioning system and the heating system.

You can connect the battery to  a regular 220V 13A domestic power outlet and it will charge in just 7 hours. This charging time can be cut to just 30 minutes when it is connected to a special terminal delivering a 125A monophase current. The battery is located under the floor between the axles to lower the centre of gravity and offer greater protection in the event of impact. It also has the added benefit of creating more cabin room.

The new C Zero is designed for everyday use and can reach a top speed of 80mph and has a range of 93 miles. The cabin features an eye-catching dashboard displaying all of the information that you will need throughout your journey. There’s plenty of space inside the cabin so you and your passengers won’t need to worry about being cramped. You’ll even find you have plenty of boot space - 166 litres in fact!
